Arabia Mountain is the northern of two peaks in the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, in DeKalb County, Georgia, United States. A low saddle separate The Arabia Mountain Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Lithonia! Arabia Mountain View Trail 2.3 miles. The Mountain View Trail hikes the mountain’s lower elevations, exploring a shady forest, open rock expanses, and a grassy meadow. The trail catches reflections of the mountain in a small lake, and grassy meadows on the lake’s shore make for a great place for a mid-hike picnic. VIEW TRAIL INFO & MAPS; Panola Mountain Guided Summit Hikes The Arabia Mountain PATH network meanders through incredible rock outcroppings, colorful wildflower fields, rushing streams, and towering pines as it makes its way from the Mall at Stonecrest into Panola Mountain State Park and beyond.
The trail features several new arched granite bridges, a wooden boardwalk, and a short segment over a rock outcropping. Future phases of the trail are funded and in development.
